Elizabeth Barker

Assistant Director of Community 

Elizabeth is a native of Brunswick who left town to study at Wellesley College and later UMass Amherst, where she earned a Ph.D. in School Psychology. She and her husband Sean returned home to Maine after finishing graduate school. Elizabeth practiced as a clinical child psychologist specializing in autism spectrum disorders before stepping back to devote more time to her family. Elizabeth is passionate about building community and strong connections between families in Brunswick. She also loves conversation, travel, great food, warm weather, and learning about people’s lives and experiences.
